Every workout in Grit & Grain features a sandbag—sometimes it’s the only piece of equipment, other times it’s paired with movements like gymnastics or conditioning exercises. Rest assured, your sandbag skills will be put to the test in every session!

We recommend having multiple weights on hand for different workouts and scaling options:

  • Men’s Rx: 200/150/100 lb bags
  • Women’s Rx: 150/100/75 lb bags
  • Men’s Scaled: 150/100/75 lb bags
  • Women’s Scaled: 100/75/50 lb bags

Each workout will call out what specific weights you’ll need. If you happen to have heavier bags and want to use them that is totally fine!

Look for brands with a solid warranty—believe us, these sandbags are going to take a beating! Good options include Freedom Strength, Rogue, or GoRuck. A reliable return or replacement policy can be a lifesaver if something rips.

Just about anything—gymnastics, barbell lifts, aerobic conditioning, you name it! While the sandbag is always the centerpiece, we incorporate a variety of exercises to keep training fun and well-rounded.

You can typically finish the full session—warm-up and workout—in about 45 minutes. It’s designed to be efficient while still delivering a solid sweat.
