Tiffany Wilkerson

Tiffany grew up in the mountains of Northwest Montana and spent her days hunting, camping, playing softball and traveling with her competitive jump rope team (she swears it’s a real thing). She went to college in Wisconsin where she not only earned her BS in Integrative and Medical Biology but also earned Conference Player of the Year in softball and a school record and Conference Championship in the 4×400 relay in track and field. In 2008 she was so bored of the classic treadmill run + weight room routine and went searching for her next fitness endeavor, she found CrossFit and never looked back. She believes anyone can do CrossFit and that the consistent CrossFitter will reach levels of fitness they didn’t think were possible. She is as excited to teach you how to air squat as she is to teach you how to muscle up. Tiffany spends her time wrestling her two boys, watching too much MMA with her husband and geeking out on bio-hacking.

  • Head Coach at Cobra Command CrossFit
  • 15+ Years Coaching Experience
  • CrossFit Level Two Trainer Certificate

Logan Aldridge

I have always been heavily involved in sports and physical activity. Growing up, I stayed outside as much as possible. I played football, soccer, baseball, basketball and lacrosse. Also, coming from a family of water skiers, my earliest memories revolve around water sports. I developed a deep love of wakeboarding and had real aspirations of pursuing the sport professionally.

I was committed to achieving excellence in lacrosse and wakeboarding. After three years of playing lacrosse and training aggressively, I lost my left arm at the age of 13 in a traumatic boating/wakeboard rope accident.

I was left-handed. After the amputation of my left arm, my biggest fear was that I was going to be labeled as “disabled” or “handicapped.” I wanted to make sure that everyone knew I was going to be the same person I was before and able to do the same things that I would have done with two arms. This was not going to control my life.

Since my injury, I competed at an elite level in wakeboarding competitions, became an accomplished lacrosse player, wrote a book, started a career as a professional motivational speaker, and formed a business and nonprofit to help raise money for children’s hospitals across the country so that others may have the exceptional quality of care like I received at UNC Children’s Hospital after my accident.

My passion for fitness became an obsession out of necessity in order for me to be able to physically accomplish my goals as a wakeboarder, lacrosse player and overall athlete. I knew that in order to be competitive in sport I must be as physically fit as possible. I must KNOW that there is no way someone has outworked me.

For many years, I lifted weights and conditioned myself often. When I found CrossFit, it offered me a structured program for what I had already been doing. I was hooked.

As an adaptive athlete and coach, I have a unique perspective and approach to any obstacle or challenge. I am aware of a problem but recognize the solutions. I know about the difficulties, but believe they can be overcome. I see the negative, but accentuate the positive. When exposed to the worst, I expect the best. When there are reasons to complain, I prefer to smile.

When it comes down to it, attitude is everything. If we can have this perspective, our potential is truly endless and growth is inevitable. Not only in fitness, but in life.

David Sawyers

God has always for provided for me every aspect of my life. Mid-season of playing football in my freshman year of college, I decided to join the U.S. Army, where I earned my Green Beret and honor graduate of Special Forces Advanced Reconnaissance, Target Analysis, Exploitation and Technique Course and served in Army Special Operations Counter Terrorism Unit.

I had many opportunities to teach advanced marksmanship and CQB techniques to foreign and domestic Special Operation forces throughout my time. After leaving the team, I attended the University of Michigan, where I earned my B.S. in Economics and established the first Weightlifting team in Big Ten Conference. Upon completion of my undergrad, I realized that the knowledge and experience I have gained through my service was truly a blessing, and creating opportunities to teach the local Police Departments and S.W.A.T teams became my passion.

I believe I have a deep understanding of fundamentals and possess a diverse set of experiences as an instructor, to be able to translate Special Operations tactics and techniques into applied training solutions to Law Enforcement Agencies, and the Tactical Games athletes through Grit Tactical. I am happily married to Stephanie Sawyers, and we are continuing to serve God throughout our journey.
